Which electric fence should I choose for my sheep?
For sheep, we recommend an electrified netting of 90cm height (such as the Gallagher Smartfence) paired with a suitable energiser (S40 or S400). The nets are easy to move for rotational grazing and provide reliable protection against predators.
Do electric nets protect against wolves and predators?
Electric nets provide an effective first line of defence. For enhanced wolf protection, we recommend double netting or a 1.06m high net with a powerful energiser (minimum 1 joule output). Complementary devices (lights, livestock guardian dogs) are also recommended.
