Returns and refunds

A plain-language summary of the right of withdrawal. The binding contractual text is Article 11 of our terms and conditions of sale; the model form is Article 12. If the wording differs, the terms and conditions prevail.

• Deadline: you have 14 days from the day you, or a person you designate, receive the goods to change your mind, without giving a reason. If the order is delivered in several parcels or lots, the period runs from receipt of the last one.
• How to do it: tell us in any unambiguous written form (email to contact@ovihandling.com or letter to OVIHANDLING, Les Calies 4, 16420 Lesterps, France) or use the model withdrawal form available for download below.
• Sending the goods back: return them no later than 14 days after informing us. You are liable only for any loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.
• Return costs: the direct cost of returning the goods is yours, except in case of an error or defect on our side. As livestock equipment is heavy and bulky, this can be expensive: ask us for an estimate before sending anything back.
• Refund: we refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal decision, using the same means of payment as the order. We may withhold the refund until the goods are recovered or until you provide proof that they have been dispatched, whichever happens first.
• Exceptions: withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — made-to-measure manufacturing, dimensions changed at your request, personalised markings. We rely on no other exception.
• Guarantees: quite apart from withdrawal, you benefit from the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 13 and 14 of the terms), plus our 6-month commercial guarantee, which does not replace them.
• Professional buyers: the right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made for your business; the applicable rules are in Part 3 of the terms.

Damaged or missing parcel

Inspect your parcel at delivery. In case of visible damage, write precise reservations on the carrier's delivery slip and contact us within 48 hours with photos.
